Making bullets work ? Template made with Word

Hi

So, i have seen the lines about bullets / numbers in the Documentation where it says that you need to do something with a numbering file. But sorry i just dont get it when i look in that file there is so much in it, and the description you give is simply too sparse.

I have been working on making a template for email phishing analysis and everything is working super well even code and code blocks are working fine now. However, Bullet lists created in the Word Template is fine, but bullet lists created from the Section and an editor field is only showing up as "Numbers" in the final generated document. Also, they are counting up throughout the whole document.

Here is a screenshot of the UI so far, that part is working and i have made many sections and custom fields.
It's a shame that you can't make text fields without "editor" etc, to make clear-text fields etc. But all good.

For example, i have then created the following within PwnDoc and that part looks fine.

But when i look at the generated report this is what i see

I know that this is happening as my "numbering" file is wrong, but i really could use some help in what to change and how to edit that file. Or perhaps even better if i can change the settings from within Word so that it just becomes a part of the Template.

(So, i will try to explain the solution since i kind of resolved this myself, however I also found a bug ...)

How to fix numbering.xml (in a Word docx for pwndoc)

Short explanation on what i did, instead of figuring things out, what is what i simply took the styles from the repo template and renumbered them into my custom template. Gave them numbers that dont interfere with what is already there and used them for id 1,2,3.

1. Right click your Docx document and choose to rename and set extensions .zip
2. Right click and choose Extract All... (or unzip it however you preferer!)
3. Edit the file extracted-path/word/numbering.xml (You should use something like VSCode with XML formatting or similar)
4. Do the above 3 same steps with the default-template from pwndoc so now you both have numbering.xml from your doc and the default template.
5. Now copy the only 3 abstractNum sections from the default template
   
6. Then paste them into your own like this and i gave them an abritrary number higher than all the others. (I simply just put 5 in front of the number id)
   
   So i ended up with 3 new abstractNum sections 50, 51, 52
7. I then changed the 3 numID sections to point to the new abstractNum sections.
   
8. Save your numbering.xml file and re-pack it as ZIP file. Don't forget that you need to be inside the folder when compressing it like in the image. (Or compress it as zip however you like!) Just remember that the [Content_Types].xml file mut be in the root folder of the zip not a subfolder.
   
9. Right click the zip file and rename the extension back to .docx
10. You're done! Upload the new template docx file to PwnDoc and re-generate the reports.

Bug you said?

Well, if you like me are trying to squeeze something out of PwnDoc that it's not build for then yes you will run into limitations and as i see it a bug/missing feature etc.

Using ordered/numbered lists from within the section's fields will generate a numbered list just fine but it will continue throughout your document. Ie. look here.

and even further down testing some more ...

So, you can clearly see that the number/ordered lists don't behave as they should. They continue throughout the whole document in one continuos iteration. The number never reset ... I tried changing the restartNumberingAfterBreak but with no luck.
