AV1 Shorts freeze, add option to specify Shorts codec? #3509

Fire TV 3rd gen Cube (Amlogic Pop1-G/A311D2 SOC)
SmartTube beta 21.84

Playing any Shorts in AV1 lock up during playback, sometimes turn video green, and in a few instances crash/reboot the Cube.

Shorts in AVC and VP9 codecs play fine. Non-Shorts videos in AV1 play fine as well.

Would it be possible to have an option to select the default codec just for Shorts?
