When letterboxing photos, can we go ahead and crop photo when image is close to requested size?

@waratuman this would be super nice to have. It would make photos on our listings look even better.

+1, this would also probably be significantly less cpu intensive and help us keep load under control

What is the definition of close? I think the load would remain the same, unless I'm missing something.
