Mobile friendly/responsive theme

I don't think its uncommon for people to play DF while using the wiki on their mobile device. This is possible, but painful.

There exist several mediawiki solutions for this: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Mobiles,_tablets_and_responsive_design

I'm not sure how much custom css there is in the current theme, which might break / look horrible with one of these themes. The placement of ads is also a concern.

But would it be possible to install one of these extensions and try it out to see how usable it is? That would also give a good idea of how much effort would be needed to update it.

Interestingly enough, after we ran some upgrades, the Monobook and Timeless skins (i.e. the two distributed with MW 1.32 that aren't the default Vector skin) look pretty decent on mobile for me. Examples:
