Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Findability of HTD documents in a global context is currently not a given. both in terms of version management and in terms of following a development history (e.g. I want to accelerate a test design by referencing a few 'parent' test cases)

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. a consistent naming scheme for HTD templates (identifiers)
  2. additional fields for a) reference identifier and b) "parent HTD"

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • DOI style approach: e.g. just upload the document to ZENODO, the use the doi
  • namespacing: develop a e.g. project-based namespace method for HTD document identifiers
  • FAIR taxonomy approach - using an open taxonomy (somehow)

Additional context
FAIR and open data principles.
