The maximum upload size depends on the client machine, as it is ultimately the one running the code.
On my computer, with trainset running locally, I can upload up to 22MB (> 150k rows) before seeing some display inconsistencies.

Symptoms for a too large dataset: the loading animation turns endlessly and the preview fails to load. The annotation and navigation still work.
