Add date support #4
Comments
Thanks for the suggestion! And yeah, that's something I was considering during initial development, and it's a fair request. I didn't do it initially, because it increases complexity drastically. Will have a bit of a marketing problem, should've called it datetime-picker-card 😅 |
Please!!! You'd be surprised how many more people are looking for a better datetime picker solution than what's available currently. |
BTW would it be possible to have a "minute" picker? |
Coming late to the party but I would like to second and third the option of picking dates in addition to just picking time. |
Is there any progress in this? |
@gieljnssns unfortunately no. This requires a decent amount of effort. I haven't had the time to work on time-picker-card. If someone wants to open a PR, I'd be happy to consult, review and merge. |

Suggested feature / solution
Would be cool to have full control of a datetime entity. The card in it's current state seems to have enough space for a date picker. We would have more precise control of a potential alarm (what this card is mostly used for) and, overall, this card could be the card for the whole datetime entity instead of utilizing only the "set time" functions.
