AZB locale properties need to be updated #1762
Comments
Based on iso639-3 and azb.wikipedia.com clearly we have problem in AZB language definition here. Current native name
'Turki' is not the official English name for this language. It's the Persian name of 'تۆرکجه'. Clearly, it has nothing to do with the native_name or english_name of the language. |
I agree with @arazgholami. |
Hey @tobifjellner , I would really appreciate if you could check my comment and the modification that I suggested on the commit. |
@arazgholami |
I just approved the PR. Thanks for your time @tobifjellner |
@tobifjellner Sorry to bother you again. It looks like the pull request is blocked due to failed tests. Should we do something about it, or will it be merged automatically in the next cycle? |
@arazgholami We're waiting for approval from @amieiro |
The definitions for locale AZB are outdated.
As per https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2023/12/24/azb-locale-edit-azb-locale/
The English language name should be "Turki", and the native name "تورکجه (تورکی)"
