Generating reads that only start in a given position

Hi i want to simulate the case where you sequence the exact same area(i.e the same starting position and direction for every read) or the case where an amplicon is sequenced but only in their extremes, i guess is similar to what happens in RAD-seq. I was reading your documentation and paper but i didnt find anything that suits my needs. Any insight is more than welcome. Thanks
