🌐 New Feature Update for NetworkSherlock: FTP Anonymous, ARP Discovery, ASN & ORG Information and Geolocation Data!

Hello NetworkSherlock Users,

We're excited to bring you the latest update to NetworkSherlock, further enhancing its capabilities for network security analysis and penetration testing. With this update, we have introduced two powerful new features: Autonomous System Number (ASN) & Organization (ORG) Information and Geolocation Data Retrieval.

🛰️ What's New?

1. ASN & ORG Information:

   • NetworkSherlock now provides detailed information about the autonomous system number (ASN) and organization (ORG) associated with each scanned IP address.
   • This feature helps in identifying the network's ownership and control structure, offering crucial insights for security professionals and researchers.

2. Geolocation Data Retrieval:

   • Alongside ASN & ORG, NetworkSherlock now fetches and displays geolocation data for each IP address scanned.
   • This data includes city, country, and, in some cases, more specific location details, enabling a deeper understanding of the geographical distribution of network assets.

3. Enhanced Shodan Integration:

   • Domain Retrieval: Gain insights into the domains associated with scanned IP addresses.
   • Server Name Retrieval: Fetch server names to understand the configuration and services running on the network.
   • NetBIOS Name Retrieval: Collect NetBIOS names for deeper network device identification.

4. 🌐ARP Discovery:

   • The new ARP discovery feature allows you to scan a local network segment to identify active devices.
   • It provides crucial details such as IP addresses, MAC addresses, and associated manufacturers, giving you a comprehensive view of the devices on your local network.
   • This feature is particularly useful for internal network audits and understanding your network topology.

5. 🔐 FTP Anonymous Login Checking:

   • Our second addition, FTP Anonymous Login Checking, lets you identify FTP servers that allow anonymous logins.
   • This feature tests each FTP server found during the scan to see if it accepts 'anonymous' as a user, which can be a potential security risk.
   • It's an essential tool for securing your FTP services and ensuring that sensitive data is not exposed to unauthorized users.

🔄 How to Use These New Features?

• Simply update your NetworkSherlock tool from our GitHub repository: NetworkSherlock.
• For ARP Discovery, use the --arp-discover and --iface flags to specify the network and interface.
• FTP Anonymous Login Checking is automatically performed for FTP services found during the scan.
