Closing a saved Query tab still asks whether to save the "Modified" query again #1885

Preconditions

  • HeidiSQL version: 12.6.0.6782 (64 bit)
  • Database type and version: MariaDB 11.2.2
  • OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2

Describe the bug
When I double click on a Query tab, it gives the "Modified query" "Save changes to file XXX?" popup. But, that tab has already been saved and its asterisk denoting unsaved changes is not shown. HeidiSQL is confused about whether this tab is unsaved.

Further testing:
If I click Cancel on that popup and edit the query, the asterisk denoting unsaved changes appears on the tab as expected. Then, I save the tab again, making the asterisk disappear. If I then double-click the tab, it asks again whether I want to save the modified query, even though it's already saved.

To Reproduce
Sorry, I don't know how to reproduce this one from scratch, but I can reproduce the popup on one of my computers right now over and over, presumably as long as I don't click Yes or No on the popup.
