I'm contributing two formulae to ease development for MSP430 microcontrollers.
The formula for mspdebug includes an embedded patch that fixes a bug that prevents it from opening a connection to a TI LaunchPad development tool.
The formula for llvm-msp430 is keg-only because it provides its own clang, llvm, and other tools provided by XCode.
More details about the patch for mspdebug and the keg-only rationale is provided in the formulae themselves.
