404 Error

I so far have gotten the site to run perfectly fine, with the increased upload limit etc. What I think to be the last issue I face is that when someone who hasn't logged in before is faced with the login/register page it seems to 404 even though the files are on the server and can be accessed directly via http://domain.com/login.php. I was wondering if anyone would be able to assist with this.

P.S This is not a major issue by all means so in no rush for this to fixed
