Hello, currently the interface provided by this package is useful in JDBC. Since this package seems largely abandoned, I'm wondering if it should just be folded into JDBC. Either way, I'd like to make a PR tomorrow to update it to work without warnings or errors on 0.6 and 0.7.

Feel free to use this, I don't plan on working on it anymore. I'm willing to give you admin access to this repo if you like.

Ok, I think my preference would be to simply put the minimal useful part of this into JDBC and deprecate DBAPI since it doesn't seem likely that any of the other database packages are going to use this. I'll ask whether this is acceptable over at JDBC. Thanks.
