Is there no way to implement this feature to work from box (like it was)? Because now it became not-user-friendly. For example, it will be not useful from linux liveusb, because it will demand to execute your instruction for each coin, each time when you launch application.
Frombox inoperability will scare away 90 percent of potential users, this is difinitely suicidal way.
My ideal end-user vision, is to use one barterdex application (not divided to hyperdex and barterdex) with simple interface, and with a lot of options which makes interface hardcore by 3 clicks.
I was impressed with barterdex by its userfriendly interface and usability from-box (downloaded-extracted-launched-works).
if barterdex was as it is now, I would have passed by.

@1mk3r with liveusb linux how does it handle the files in user's profile?

  • does the user profile refresh on every boot/reboot of liveusb linux?

If liveusb linux retains the profile data, then I don't think it would be any issue. In that case the BarterDEX GUI should behave very much like installed on a desktop installed linux machine.

If the case is that the user profile resets to all default state and only the applications binaries are available from this liveusb, then I can think of an alternative methods to solve this situation.

Indeed an interesting idea.

Thanks for your comment on the other issue.

Very thank you for attention.
Yes, my idea is to use barterdex from liveusb with erasing all userdata by any reboot.
Seedphrase kept only in user brain.
This method provides clear OS during each entrance with a guarantee against trojans and keyloggers, and other malicious code even in the situation of using someone else's computer with fast access to the barterdex from anywhere in the world, without leaving any physical traces on HDD.
In accordance with the above usage style, it would be very useful to add on barterdex the ability to see all coins with a non-zero balance right after entering on dashboard.
Also it would be nice right after the entrance to choose the type of all wallets used - electrum or native, without having to turn them on one by one. A similar features would also be useful for HyperDex.
Also I would like to ask you to consider the possibility of running the barterdex on linux tails OS.

Just an fyi - I'll have a look at this towards the end of this week.
