OS version: Win7 Enterprise SP1 x64
ConEmu version: 140814 x64
Far version (if you are using Far Manager): n/a
*Bug description*
ConEmu (and contained consoles) always run as admin, whether the -new_console:a option
is passed or not.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled, removed per-user ConEmu registry settings (HKCU\Software\ConEmu),
enabled+disabled the windows 'run as administrator' setting on ConEmu64.exe, ConEmu/ConEmuC.exe
and ConEmu/ConEmuC64.exe
Also of note, when I go into the new console menu, the 'run as administrator' checkbox
is checked and disabled.
*Steps to reproduction*
1. Start ConEmu
2. Console is admin (admin in title, shows shield)
It was, yeah. I turned it back on and logged out then logged in, still the
same. Work is done for the day, so I have shut down the laptop in case a
reboot was needed. Will see whether that worked tomorrow.
UAC was the problem. It needed a reboot to completely turn back on, but non-admin cmd/powershell/git-bash
windows are opening properly now.
I think it speaks well for UACs implementation in Windows 7 that it never even occurred
to me that it was off, or that it was causing the problem.
Anyway, bug report can be closed and/or rejected. Would do so myself, but can't see
an option for that.
