Input tip can show, but can't input in latest dev version.
2. Is Win2k3 - Chinese edition?
Yes.
3. Does the problem exists in Win8?
I haven't a Win8.

Unfortunately, I don't have Win2k3 chinese edition, so I can't check what do you meaning.

For better comprehension would be nice if you provide some video, where you trying
to input chinese in ConEmu (which fails) AND some other program (where it succeeded).

Possible ways to find solution ATM are:
1. providing log files, created with "ConEmu.exe /log4", where you are trying to input
chinese AND some eng letters
2. providing to me access to Win2k3 (options)

Well. I've checked Windows XP (eng) with installed East Asian languages support. Added
input layout: Microsoft New Phonetic IME 2002a (Chinese Taiwan).

Chinese input worked in ConEmu and started in tabs cmd.exe, notepad.exe.

As for PuTTY 0.62, It does not support Chinese input at all, even started outside of
ConEmu. So, I can't understand reason of this issue. Thought, you need to report this
to PuTTY author not to me.

I do a set of test:
test1: start putty with -new_console, can't input Chinese.
test1: start putty without switches, can input Chinese.
test1: start powershell with -new_console, can input Chinese.
The attachs is log.

1. What logs? What tests? All your tests are "test1". But logs - test1, test2, test3.
Did you mean sequence of test1's? ;)

2. If "test2.zip" corresponds your second "test1" - I can't understand meaning of logs.
In other words, what do you starts (exactly) when input Chinese works? Unfortunately
logs does not store execution lines yet.

3. I've show my screenshots, proving that PuTTY can't input Chinese even outside of
ConEmu (PuTTY started standalone). Show me yours. Otherwise I'll decide PuTTY can't
input Chinese on Windows 5.x at all. The best way - show me please onscreen video,
for example, recorded with http://www.screencast.com/ (it's free).

Thought a little...
It would be nice, if you record video with 2 parts:
a) you can input chinese in putty (with conemu?)
b) you can't input chinese in putty
Do it please...

One more question - what codepage (language) is set as default for NonUnicode program?

Ok, but please reply to other questions, especially for Comment #8

I'm still not sure, how you start Putty and how are trying to input chinese, exactly
with keypresses, because I don't know Chinese lang. or Chinese IME ;)
