The stable tag is used in the Gittyup webpage and it points to 7fa0bce which is named "Gittyup 1.2.2" but it's the same commit as "Gittyup Release 1.1.2". I also think that stable should points to a more recent release.

Not sure if releases/latest points always to the latest stable release or also to development releases. Has to be checked out
