Files can come, change and go with new software versions. The only place, where we inform the person who performs an upgrade about obsoleted files, is the update script. After closing the update script, one can find the information only in the sources of the this script. Additionally, in some cases we forget to mention obsoleted files.
This can lead to the presence of orphaned outdated scripts, templates and images. My idea is to inform the forum administrators about these files in the admin area in an analogue manner like we inform them about the presence of the installation script.
The possible situation of mentioning an obsolete file not with the version that obsoleted the file but ony with one of the later versions should not be a big problem (IMHO).
