Large inventories are a huge pain to navigate because:

  • Can't scroll fast enough (input processing issue)
  • Accidental category switches (input processing issue)
  • Search is not working!!!

It might be possible to enable this again without too much trouble by calling up the steamvr keyboard via IVROverlay::ShowKeyboardForOverlay().
