The HP Compaq 8000 Elite (https://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/hp-compaq-8000-elite-small-form-factor-pc/4065894/drivers) doesn't show HDMI audio in the audio settings.

I am brand new to OpenELEC but have used Xbuntu in the past with great success. How do I update the video drivers, or Wifi Drivers in OpenELEC? I'm hoping that this will allow me to use the HDMI output.

Just a note Im using DP output on this device and the manual does say the DP support audio.

Question, What video card are you using? that can be the answer right there. I had the same issue and i replaced the video card after looking at this supported graphics cards page
http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/Supported_Graphics_Cards
I was using an old 256MB ATI Radeon HD 3450 card with hdmi out. But saw that HD audio was NOT supported.(audio out was PCM) then I found a GTX 650 2gb card for $20.00 on Offerup ( by the way im running openelec 8.04 on a Dell Studio Desktop 2.3GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 6GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM. But anyway Forget about looking to install drivers....Change the card
