[reported by hkaiser] [Trac time Wed Feb 22 02:29:19 2012] There is the suspicion that credit exhaustion causes the reference counting mechanism to fail which causes the referenced object to stay alive even after all references went out of scope.

The credit_exhaustion test needs to be changed to test for the referenced object being deleted.
