External projects which use HPX based on FindHPX.cmake often need to link with other components from the HPX distribution (like distributing_factory). There is currently no portable way to achieve this feat.

Is that already solved by using the COMPONENT_DEPENDENCY options for add_hpx_executable() et.al.?

@hkaiser : Yes, I forgot about that, I wrote that ages ago for things like hpxla. Closing.
