I've been really enjoying the dependencies feature; but there's currently no way to add them to recurring actions. For example I fill orders every work day, and I go to the Post Office every work day. B depends on A. Since these are recurring and are on the same schedule, every work day I get both of them added to my list. I can edit them manually to add the dependencies, but I'd like to add them automatically.

I can see where this would cause some grief if the schedules didn't line up. You would have an action depending on something that doesn't exist. Two solutions I can see:

  • remove the dependency on days where they don't line up
  • require the schedules to be the same before adding a dependency.

The second is probably easier to implement, but the first offers more scheduling possibilities. Any thoughts on this?
