So, I didn't know how to raise awareness better than open another topic regarding this, because it's been a YEAR almost and this issue still hasn't been fixed.

There's an open thread related to it here: #457 yet no one seems to care, while this is a MAJOR issue.

Will VALVE finally do something about it or what do we pay here for?!

Opening a new issue does not raise more attention. While I agree that this bug should gain some attention, the policy is to close duplicates (ideally before too much conversation). As such, closed as Dupe. I'll see about getting more attention to this bug.
