Preserve settings across installs by persisting into an external file instead of DESKTOP2

  • Filename can be e.g. DESKTOP.CONFIG type $F1
  • Load the settings in desktop/loader.s - there's plenty of room for the code. It can load into MAIN then move into AUX LC $FF80
  • Save the settings in desk.acc/control.panel.s - again, plenty of room
