Im running Ubuntu Karmic 32bit on my HTPC. Sound is being sent through HDMI to my receiver. Installed with regular install script without any problems. Only thing is, when i play any songs, it plays them too fast! Sounds like 1.5-2.0x the speed of the regular audio. Im using the latest alsa. Any clues?
Thanks!

I have never heard of that problem before, I guess you should try with a different alsa version. Otherwise I´m clueless. Is the progress meter also moving to fast or only the sound?
I've tried numerous versions of alsa I'm afraid. Including the newest and a great deal of others. The progress meter / timer is also going at the same pace, 1.5x faster.
