@allanglen I was just about to ask the same question. Curious what stepper motor & controller you used and how it's assembled. I just ordered the 3D printed wheel.

Apologies for the very slow response on this. I have moved and all of my equipment and the simulator are currently in storage. As a result I haven't had a chance to continue working on this.

The parts for the trim wheel were scavenged from a broken laser printer so they are all non-standard components. The motor is a DC motor with a rotary encoder. I have not completed the programming yet for driving the motor in response to the autopilot in the sim.
