Nexus Version - not displaying recorded TV episodes info

I have 2 Nvidia shield TVs, one running Matrix, one accidentally updated to Nexus. TV PVR backend is TVHeadEnd. Both have Amber installed from within the Kodi Get More Skins menu. The Matrix one displays info for each episode, the Nexus ones does not. Backed up and restored settings at first, then checked everything one by one (4+ hrs troubleshooting this).
I think it is something within the Skin because changing the skin to default (on the Nexus unit) does display episode info. I can provide more data/logs if necessary but nor super familiar how to.
