Documentation

You could find the official documentation here: http://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VFBlender/V-Ray+for+Blender

Known Issues

  • If won't work along with vb25 exporter. If you have vb25 exporter under user scripts "startup" directory you will have to move it to "addons" directory or remove.
  • If you were using vb30 since early alpha and now missing node trees with the latest builds -- use this script to relink them: https://gist.github.com/bdancer/980e49f20b1fd09f8518

Notes

  • For exporter update start Blender "As Administrator" (For Windows)
  • DO NOT uncheck "F" (Use Fake User) flag from node trees! They will be removed on scene save if uncheck!
  • DO NOT open and save your scene files in Blender builds without node patches - you will lose all node tree connections! This will be resolved after this patch will be approved: https://developer.blender.org/T37754
