"To avoid interferences from the MCU, bridge RST to GND on the MCU too."

how to disable the mcu is not actually stated.

where is this chip? is it under the esp daughter board? on the rear of the main board?

https://github.com/blakadder/templates/blob/master/_templates/asakuki

this is the visible surface of the board, readily accessible to the user:

https://www.reddit.com/r/tasmota/comments/so2b00/trying_to_flash_a_tasmota_tywe3s_in_place/ioz82vp/ seems to answer this is the board on the bottom of the daughterboard, hot air rework is required to flash this board

probably best to tell the user to just remove the board and flash then place it back on the board

swapping to an esp8266F works great! after figuring out how to send commands over the webui console everything works except for the front power led. would be nice to have more control over the mist strength but this thing is awesome! [mist/fan may also be inverted?]

edit: i research the bug so i am able to describe it better
hi ,i flashed and replaced with a esp12f and everything work fine but one thing.If the mist is on and i turn on the light , then manually pressing the physical "mist" button to turn off mist and light ,the mist stops ,the light stays on and in tasmota i get
MQT: stat/Aroma/RESULT = {"Command":"Error"}
and the state of the deffuser at webui does not change from ON to OFF.
I have to turn off the deffuser from the webui to make things normal again.
