Is Bookshelf actively maintained? #2121

Hi,
the last version of bookshelf was in June 2020,
the last commit to master is more than a year ago,
the freenode #bookshelf seems dead (#2114),
in the PRs and the open issues there is few involvement of the project maintainers

which makes me wonder whether this project is still actively maintained and if not, what could be done about it?

I think the bookshelf is not actively maintained. so sad!

chore(deps): update knex to v1 and use our own fork of bookshelf
d8e9007 
Bookshelf is apparently unmaintained (bookshelf/bookshelf#2121)
and enforces us to use a horribly outdated knex version.
