Could not find 'rake' (...) among X total gem(s) #525

Description of Problem

zeus start fails if rake gem is not installed.

System details

  • uname -a: Darwin R5003885.local 14.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Wed Jul 29 02:26:53 PDT 2015; root:xnu-2782.40.9~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
  • ruby -v: ruby 1.9.3p194 (2012-04-20 revision 35410) [x86_64-darwin14.4.0]

Steps to Reproduce

  1. gem uninstall rake

  2. gem install zeus

  3. zeus start in a new rails project

  4. zeus s

Observed Behaviour

Server does not run. It complains about rake: Could not find 'rake' (...) among X total gem(s)

Expected Behaviour

Server runs.

Can you post the Gemfile and Gemfile.lock for the rails project?

Gemfile and Gemfile.lock were created by running rails new new_app

I have bundle config --global path vendor/bundle set which might be causing this.

This might duplicate #237 which can be resolved by #530?

@matiasanaya Yes, should be fixed with that PR. Does this still happen with zeus 0.15.5?
