Currently if you carry your tacticalendar around and depending on the type of marker you use, you can rub off your appointments. This is not a problem of course when it stays on your wall in your house, but some people who travel with it a lot would benefit from an acrylic cover which seats inside the front and protects your writing.
A similar adaptation could also be useful for tacticalendars used in a public space where you don't wish people to add extra things or rub things off. An extra panel secured over the top means that existing appointments can't be edited and anything added maliciously can be dealt with separately.
