User Guide
Go to hrtb.us on your smartphone or computer. Allow the app to use your current location and it will show you a list of HRT stops that are close to you. For each stop, the app will show the route number, destination, and minutes until arrival of all buses coming by that stop in the next 30 minutes. The minutes until arrival is normally blue, but will turn red to indicate the bus is arriving in the next few minutes. Once the bus has left, the arrival will remain in the app for a few minutes, but the minutes until arrival will change to "Gone" and the background will become transparent.
Tap on an arrival to see more details, including a map of the bus's last known location, the bus number, the time it is scheduled to arrive at that stop, the number of minutes it is off schedule, and the number of minutes since this information was last updated.
Tap the menu icon on the top right of the screen to access additional features, read about the app developers, and get help.
The route view allows you to see a map of all active HRT buses. Use the drop down to select a route and see the active buses on that route. Tap on any bus icon to get details about that bus, including its number, the number of minutes it is off schedule, and the number of minutes since this information was last updated.
The stop finder allows you to find stops close to your current location or search for stops around an intersection. Tap on a stop icon to see a list of buses arriving at that stop (this screen works exactly like the home screen).
If you like the route view for a certain route or you found your stop in the stop finder - you can bookmark those views to get quick access to them in the future.
