Questions:

  • Do we leave it all to the system to find a match based on two categories? (e.g. mentor -> mentee) and the description in the "learn more" section?
  • Or do we also allow volunteer mods to click on two users, then hit submit, which fires off an introductory email between the two?
  • Or do we rely on manual matching from the start?

The email will ask the user to log in to contact their match. Will file a separate issue about creating that inbox feature.

I think if we have the ability for both, that would be good, although would need to keep an eye on the automatic system to make sure it doesn't send out bogus matches.

For the MVP, let's build this first:

On /moderator, allow mods to:
-[ ] click on two unmatched entries on the board
-[ ] write an optional message to the two users, then hit submit
-[ ] ... which fires off an introductory email between the two.
