This is the report from Japanese user.

This issue sounds like due to adobe's original tweak of PNG.
So it's really upto community and if 3rd party php library is available or not.
I'm going to leave as an issue for the record even if we decided not to fix it.

STEP to REPRODUCE

  • Use Adobe CC Photoshop
  • Create an PNG image with using Adobe's Asset function
  • Upload a PNG file onto concrete5
  • PNG with embedded font & shape don't preserve transparency information properly, and concrete5 generates corrupted image
