This is part of implementing proper file transfer support.

For a user, it would be great to be able to transfer folders as well as files. But in order to do this we probably need to create new SI profiles - otherwise the receiving end will not know what to do with the content.

This issue is specifically about designing and implementing this kind of support.

This depends on all the other file transfer pieces being complete before starting work on it. Thus, we need:

This is basically complete - the implementation and GUI works fine. However, it's left open while waiting for the ProtoXEP for this behavior to be created.

This has been fixed by adding a protoXEP to the coyim/standards repository.
