EDITED

  • dc11:format (through 2019)

Comment reads: "Examples of dimensions include size
and duration. Recommended best practice is to use a
controlled vocabulary such as the list of Internet
    Media Types."

  • dcterms:format (ISO 15836-2 / DCMIMT 2020)

Comment reads: "Recommended practice is to use a
controlled vocabulary where available. For example,
for file formats one could use the list of Internet
Media Types. Examples of dimensions include size and
    duration."

    range_includes:

    Examples

    1. text/xml
    2. https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/mvidformat/dvd
    3. 23 cm

CHANGING NOW (unless I hear objections!)

    No changes.

PROPOSING FOR FUTURE (to be voted)

  • dc11:format

    Declare equivalent to dcterms:
Add to comment: "Examples of dimensions include
size and duration." (as per dcterms:)

Do the dc11's have ranges? If not, they can't be equivalent, right?

In the current version none of them has "Has range". I can't remember where the ISO version is, but it looks to me like the 1.1 terms do not have ranges. I also think that is how it should be.
