tmux support gone missing ? #242
Comments
It looks like this stuff has just rotted due to me not using it. Would you be interested in helping to maintain this part of foreman? |
I found an alternative I like even better. I'm using tmuxinator and foreman together giving me the best of both worlds, so I don't have a need for native tmux support any more. |
Sounds great! |
Can you remove this from the docs if not supported? |
Not well supported at this time. See issue ddollar#242
I wanted this, so I spiked it out as an external script. I'm game for either integrating it back into Foreman or releasing it as a separate gem. What do you think? |
Seems to be leftovers from tmux support. ddollar#242
first off, wanna say I love foreman -- awesome tool, use it all the time, so thanks!
I can't seem to get tmux integration working, though the docs say it should be there and it looks like it was merged in while ago with this commit: f41cc55
browsing the latest version of the gem here I see remnants of the tmux implementation, for example /bin/taskman still references the TmuxEngine, but I can't figure out how to start it, and it's gone from the command line options.
if I pull from the forked repo at https://github.com/hsume2/foreman, the tmux implementation from his original pull request works great. am I doing something utterly dumb here, or is tmux support gone?
I am running OS X 10.7, Ruby 1.9.3, Foreman 0.53, and have tmux and gawk install through homebrew.
