More Interesting Functions

I'm terribly bored of working with simple math functions and data structure manipulations on the REPL.

I'd like to work with a more visual or audible medium. It may be about time to start looking into a web-page adaptor layer, Conal Elliott's tangible functions, and maybe persistent dictionary model (perhaps using acid-state or SQLite instead of ad-hoc text files?).

Interactive fiction would also be an interesting area to start exploring, and would be an area I can get started with earlier on a text REPL.
