directvnc is not working well in kms framebuffer #1

hi!

i tried running directvnc in radeon kms framebuffer, and it runs. But the image is mangled - it seems like the horizontal resolution is twice less than it should be. I tried running both in 16 and 25 bpp mode.

Do you think it is possible to make directvnc work fine in modern framebuffers?

Same problem with Intel KMS fbdev.

Hi,
from the man page , it said 16 and 24 bpp are supported .
-b, --bpp the bits per pixel to be used by the client. Currently only 16 and 24 bpp are available.

Having the same sort of issue, only half of the horizontal width is used:

Examples from directfb (like df_window) do use the entire screen:
