Goes without saying that the current features in ES-Hadoop need to be properly documented.
Currently there core is there but there are several chapters that need to be fleshed out before closing this, namely:

  • configuration section for Cascading, Hive and Pig
  • section on parallel reading and writing (and performance)
  • section on speculative execution (both M/R and Pig)
  • section on automatic mapping and how it affects type conversion
  • section on YARN
  • replace preface with an introductory section
