Manpages would be 'nice to have' at some point. I don't know what it takes to make them, can you just drop them in ~/.local/share for a local installation?

bupstash uses ronn. (ronn was last updated in 2013, the community has converged around this fork: ronn-ng).
There is also mdbook to generate documentation (created & used by Rust), and a backend aptly named mdbook-man.
man looks in $MANPATH for pages, this is usually set to /usr/local/man:/usr/local/share/man:/usr/share/man, unfortunately it doesn't look like there is a folder for local installation.
I've packaged elfshaker on the AUR, once there are man pages in a later release, I'll update the package accordingly.
