Click at right-hand-end for focus doesn't work in Chrome after maxitems hit

1. Go to the online demo page http://www.emposha.com/demo/fcbkcomplete_2/
2. Enter two or more items to hit the maxItems limit of 2
3. Click away from the input area so that it loses focus
4. Click in the right-hand end of the input area.

In Firefox 3.6 this gives focus to the text control but in Chrome it doesn't; you need to click in the text control just to the right of the last entered tag. Delete a tag so we're back below the maximum and it works again.
