Is "Rewrite" done when "literal" target.template is given?

Hi everyone,

I have a very nasty k8s secret to create and trying to solve this right now. My current issue is, that, it looks like a Rewrite is not executed on the data.

I assume it's because I'm also passing a literal template to do additional transformation of the final k8s secrets.

In Hashicorp Vault, if have the secrets migrate_test/path1/my-secret and migrate_path/path2/my-secret. Both have the keys username and password. So it looks like this

migrate_test/path1/my-secret:

{"username": "userpath1", "password": "passwordpath1"}

migrate_test/path2/my-secret:

{"username": "userpath2", "password": "passwordpath2"}

What I need is:

• the path where the secret is found: path1 or path2 only
• the password key of each secret

So the K-V pair that I want to get from ESO (after find and rewrite) (and afterwards to further adjust!) is

path1: passwordpath1
path2: passwordpath2

I can find all secrets but no matter what kind of Rewrite I add, non of them seem to get executed.

Main question:

Am I right, that those Rewrite are not done, because I also have a literal template added?
