Describe the bug

isdir_or_mkdir fails on mapped windows network drive. This was identified by @HildeAlthof and @marlenemeyer when processing data on the werkgroupmap \cnas.ru.nl`.

To Reproduce

On a windows computer

>> cd ~/matlab/fieldtrip/private
>> isdir_or_mkdir('\\cnas.ru.nl\some\directory')

Expected behavior

It should make the directory recursively
