Impossible to select a numerical value using the numpad.

How to reproduce the issue :

Go to https://jqueryui.com/selectmenu/
Focus or open the "Select a number" dropdown
Use the numpad to select a number

Bug :

Nothing is happening

Result expected :

The related option is focused/selected as normal behavior of a select.
