PlutoPkg failing

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the place to post, but I think this is more of a personal problem than an issue with Pluto. So yesterday I suddenly couldn't run Pluto anymore ; a notebook as simple as this crashes:

Actually, even julia's Pkg cannot resolve package versions anymore (when running update for instance). The only modification I see that could have provoked this is when I typed using NOMAD in a Pluto notebook (thus installing it), and afterwards typing

(@v1.6) pkg> add NOMAD
(@v1.6) pkg> test NOMAD

in the REPL.

Any clue about whether this is the cause, and how to fix it?

The error message Bzip2_jll [6e34b625] has no known versions! could mean that your local copy of the General registry is incomplete. Try pkg> registry update to fix it

I fixed the problem by deleting the .julia directory, after generating a new one it worked. I didn't know of the registry update command though, it would probably have worked. Thanks!
