Hadn't considered it. Can you give me reasons CouchDB would be more popular than MongoDB?

CouchDB is gaining popularity because of it's excellent support for replication. This is very important for the offline access mobile application. Imagine an application where users can modify data on the web and mobile devises such as iOS and Android. Then CouchDB will take care of the replication among them.

It's not at the top of my list but I will take a look at CouchDB and consider doing an example app. Thank you for the suggestion and the rationale.
